The kitchen is formed from an old milking parlour, retaining the old byre and 'mangeoire' for the hay for the cows. Some of the old chains have also been kept. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster and microwave. There are plenty of cupboards and seating for six around a circular wooden table.
Hot water comes from solar panels and in bad weather from a wood boiler in the main house. The kitchen is wonderfully cool in hot weather.
